Title: Sushi, anyone? Date & Time: 8/16/98 @6:00 Authors: Aaron (Spiffy) and Amanda -=-=-=-= Finn was becomming conciderably more worried as Iya led him to where breakfast awaited them. All he'd recieved in response to his questions about what it was were vague answers like "Be patient! You shall find out soon." Concidering the raw squirel meat she'd offered him yesterday, this gave him plenty of reason to be concerned. The sound of running water did spark his hopes a bit, tho'. "It's fish, right?" Iya smiled - it had taken Finn long enough to guess what it was. "Yes. Are you going to eat this time? Or should I just catch enough for myself?" *Fish... that's not that bad, right? I mean, there's sushi - THAT'S raw fish...* "Um, I'll try... Just don't bother catching that many." Iya sniffed at her companion's pickiness, but let it go at that. It was HIS stomach, ater all... ------- Finn stepped up to the stream and scooped some water to drink. Something occured to him while he was drinking. "Hey, Iya, how deep is it over there?" >Looking down stream to where the ex-slave was pointing, Iya shrugged. "I do not think it would be higher than my waist." "Okay, perfect!" Finn walked downstream far enough so that he wouldn't scare the fish Iya was trying to catch, then sat down and took off his boots. "Excuse me, but what are you doing?" "Getting ready to wash some of this dirt off. You might want to do the same, if we're going to make it to that town today." 'Wait a minute.' Iya thought, 'What does he mean by that?' Iya shrugged and went back to her fishing. Iya smiled brightly as she giggled and caught one of the fish. She giggled and held it firmly in her hands. "Got one!" she squealed triumphantly. She turned to face Finn, who was in the middle of taking off his shirt. Iya's eyes grew large. "What are you doing?!" she yelled. Finn finished taking off his shirt and threw it onto the ground, "I told you, I'm going to wash some of this dirt off." "Idiot!" she roared and threw the fish at him. She stood up and spread out her wings to their fullest. "Never do such things when I am around!" "Do what things?" Finn asked, confused. There was a soft rustle, then complete silence. "Iya? Iya?" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Amanda (The Queen Otaku) qotaku@istar.ca http://magi.com/~jppaquet (Web site is under major construction.
