Date: Sun, 24 May 1998 20:22:57 -0400 (EDT) From: "Paul J. Gallo" Save Address Block Sender Subject: Part Two Paul looked at the various patrons scattered about the tavern from his vantage poitn in front of the fire place. ::This should prove to be interesting to say the least:: Paul cleared his throat, "Ladies and gentleman...May I please have you attention!" Paul called out alluringly. "Please gather around, I have for you on this faire evening a story that will show you everything...from the vilest of villians to the most coragous of advetureres...and show you the never ending power...of true love" (ANyone guess the story yet??) The patron's talk lowered to a mumur and then they fell silent, all eyes intent upon Paul. He swalloed a littel getting ready to go into his story, ::Wow, that worked better than I thought:: 'Once upon a time, there wassa Farm boy named Wesley..." (Ok get it now?) For the next half hour Paul delivered a short version of "The Princess Bride" with varying success at different parts. However when it ended... "...In all of history there have been 5 kisses that are considered the most loving and most pure...well the kiss they shared blew all the others away..." The entire place, including that really big musclebound guy in the corner broke down in tears of happiness. People started tossing various coins at Paul's feet as he took a little bow. Paul smiled and said, "Thank you...Thank you very much" (Not sounding anything like Elvis BTW), and picked up the monies and moved back over to the bar as the patrons returned to their conversations and or drinking. Paul placed the money down on the bar and said, "There ya go..." The Bar keep looked at Paul and said, "Well, I don't knwo where you are from, but that was a great story." "Thank you....May I have some food now? Please?" Paul smiled. "OH!! yeah, it'll be right out." And he bustled off into a back room. ::Finally!!:: Paul thought to himself, "FOOD!!!" -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-= Paul's OTHER quote of the day, "Oh. Ev'ry Judas once loved a Jesus! But finally, treason will seize us! And only fools follow golden rules! We are all caught in the middle of one long treacherous riddle of who trusts who...maybe I'll trust you...But can you trust me? Wait and see!"
